    WINDERs are F/A-18Cs from VFA-86 at MCAS Beaufort.
    308.925 is their Tac-1 frequency.

    VMFA-142 are the GATORs.  They are still in existence,
    although they recently returned from a tour of duty in Iraq.
    That would explain a drought in hearing them fly for the
    last half-year or so.
