[MilCom] Coat Guard 2135 e/r to Ellington Fld.

At 1610Z, on 8983 USB, Coast Guard 2135 having troubles reaching CAMSLANT
(and visa versa).  Advised CAMSLANT they were lifting from Alexandria, LA
and en route to Ellington Field in Houston.  No joy as far as I can tell on
communications with CAMSLANT.  2135 is now trying to reach Coast Guard
Corpus Christi.

 

CAMSLANT Chesapeake has really dropped off this morning in signal strength
(reception) here in N. Texas.  Both 5696 and 8983 do not seem to be working
very well for aircraft in the southern US trying to reach CAMSLANT right
now.
