Hello everyone I am sorry I am a bit late getting this out
Macdill Airfest 2005
Airboss: 126.150
Common Airshow Discretes: 123.150 (Ed hammil, Geico) 123.450 (Oreck, Unkown
team)
Heritage Flight: 136.575 (Lee Lauderback P-51/F-15)
*Possible* F-18 Demo Discrete or UHF Airboss: 261.4
I searched the UHF band the entire time the F-15 demo was going and found
nothing, I also did the same for the F-18, and got nothing until the last
manuver, I heard a littel chatter but nothing taht could help me figure out
if it was the UHF airboss or the F-18 Demo. If anyone as any thoughts on
this please fill me in.
Now the Socom Jump team, I have tried so many times to catch these guys,
also, maybey it is my inexperience and impatience, but while scanning the
UHF band I dont seem to get anything at all I had a full 15 minute demo for
the F-15 eagle in which I scanend the 2 banks they have been reported in
previous years. Here is the different bands I woudl scan according to what i
was trying to find, I scan all of them when trying to find the SOCOM
Jumpers.
VHF Airband (AM, 25 Steps)
UHF Airband (AM,25 Steps)
30.00-40.00 (FM, 25 steps)
138.00-144.00 (AM,12.5 steps)
Perhaps someone could clue me in on what I am doing wrong or perhaps give me
some tips, such as how to break the banks of to expedite scanning the UHF
band (I have the same problem when I am just searchign the band for normal
mil activity, of course I may not hear much due to the fact tampa is not a
heavy mil area)?
P.S. Thanks to Monitoring Times, for many of the Frequencies that I got hits
on.
