Fairly busy for a Saturday.
275.80: TEXAS-91, (F-16C, TX-ANG), cleared to Kelly.
275.80: RIVAL-11, (F-16, MT-ANG), cleared out for 3 sorties on VR-413.
275.80: REDEYE-21, flight of 4, (F-16 Buckley), cleared out for 9-11 fly-bys.
372.20: JPAT-91,92 & 93, (T-6A, Randolph), cruising around sightseeing over
south-central Colorado and trying to get into Fremont MOA for unspec work.
Didn't seem to bother them that they were using PTD freq for both Peterson and
Buckley for their A/A. Were also talking to an U/I dispatcher to try and get the
MOA open for them.
291.675: LION-107, (F-14D, VF-213, Oceana), land; then on to Scott.
124.15: CONGO-64, (UV-18B, AF Academy), talking to Academy Tower trying to
get permission to come over the airfield. Tower keeps insisting that there is a
TFR within 1 jmile radius of the stadium for the football game. 64 finally
talks to Scenic Control on 289.40 to get permission to enter the TFR for his
jumpers. ((He is the one dropping the jumpers carrying the flags into the
stadium, so he kind of needs to operate within the TFR))
372.20: JOSA-???, (C-21A), takeoff Colorado Springs enroute Pope.
228.45: REACH 6014, (C-5B, Travis), request WX Cherry Point for 2100Z.
289.40: FIRST-11, flight of 4, (F-15, Langley), game fly-by at AF Academy
stadium.
121.00: DILLON-2, (C-21A, CO-ANG), land; then on to Colorado Springs.
128.375: JPATS-91, 92 & 93, (T-6A, Randolph), finally get permission for work
in Fremont MOA. Working with Airburst on this freq. Seem to be staging out of
either Colorado Springs or Pueblo.
121.00: KING-95, (HC-130P, Davis-Monthan), TOL's Buckley; then back to Davis
Monthan.
275.80: REDEYE-31, flight of 4, (F-16, Buckley), cleared out for more
fly-bys.
319.00: WILDCAT-2, (F/A-18C, VFA-131, Oceana), with Denver Center, FL 250.
Cleared direct St Louis and switching 379.95.
239.025: RAIDER-81, flight of 2, (F/A-18, VFA-125, Lemoore), land Colorado
Springs.
