Thanks to all for the ID as a VC-10. Unfortunately, couldn't see the tail
number, as I was driving by the base :<

I drove by again today and can confirm 6 UK Harriers are visiting us. I
believe two of the planes may have "28" and "77" on them. New voices on the
Snowbird Maintenance Talk Group too - 70, 71, and 72, at least. The pilots
are using the standard Snowbird callsigns - Snow and Ice. They've obviously
snuck in last week, as they were up and flying today :<

I believe I heard reference to 20 Squadron, which fits real nice with these
Harriers. Haven't been able to see them close up to confirm markings....yet
:)

Ascot-3634 was departing DMAFB this afternoon. Unfortunately, didn't catch
where it was going. It was a 4-engine jet transport, with the engines to
the rear, 2 per side. Sorry, don't know my UK transport aircraft by sight
:)

As I drove by the Snowbird ramp, outside of the base, I saw at least 5
Harriers. Don't know if they were also from the UK.
