[COMMENTS]
The weather was not the greatest. Low ceilings of ~1500' were at the bare
minimums for an airshow. This was no problem for the civilian performers but
the military demos did suffer. The F/A-18E Super Hornet was a no show along
with F-16 demo team. The A-10 did perform a limited routine thanks to its
low and slow role (could not find his discrete freq). The T-6A canceled his
demo and only performed a Texan Heritage Flight (audio of the no show call
due to 1400' ceiling: http://www.geocities.com/kc8mzm/FFC/Texan.mp3)

Scott Slade, Atlanta's WSB radio morning host, was the announcer and did an
outstanding job as always.

This was my first show using the Icom R20, all recordings were made using
the built-in recorder on the radio. The dualwatch feature is outstanding,
I'm looking forward to using this at T'Birds and Blues airshows where I'll
be able to monitor the solos and 4-ship at the same time with one radio!

I was watching the PBY-5 thru the binoculars and noticed his front nose gear
had a very noticeable shimmy upon landing. The PBY did bounce the front gear
a couple of times (he obviously felt it) but the shimmy continued throughout
the roll out.

The Peachtree City NWS office is located at Falcon Field and they held an
open house on Saturday. Here's a photo of the amateur radio station (WX4PTC)
located in the severe weather section of the office:
