Goose Bay could have been a refuelling stop for a trip across the Atlantic.
It's also possible this aircraft belongs to one of the NATO countries
training at CFB Goose Bay. According to the 5 Wing Goose Bay web site, the
British RAF, German Luftwaffe and the Italian Air Force have detachments at
Goose Bay.
This isn't much, but I hope it helps.

This morning had a C-130 depart with the c/s INDIA-2177. He arrived Monday
and parked on the VAW-77 line. Pilot had a foreign sounding accent. Any
clues on
this bird? His dest. was Goose Bay Airport, Canada (CYYR)
Any info is greatly appreciated!
