Before you start pointing fingers and calling the
pilot "dumb", you should wait for the investigation to
be completed. In addition to pilot error, mechanical
failure of the weapon system is also a real
possibility currently under investigation.

In my mind, I question the sanity of people who build
a school and homes within 3.5 miles of a firing range.
Yes, the range was there first. It sits in the middle
of the Pine Barrens that, before it started to be
developed, was very isolated. Fortunately, accidents
are very rare. Most people living in the area are very
supportive of the range and the men and women who
train there. They realize the military was there
first.

Again, let's wait to see what really happened instead
of jumping to accusations.
