Hi Chris

As far as I know those are all used and part of the Nortstar Network used by
the NCA

That is my web site

NCA or National Command Authority is POTUS & SECDEF and their appointees

http://ncamonitor.tripod.com/

Take time to read through the entire web site for all info

The E-6B Looking Glass aka STRATCOM ABNCP uses the 370.1/347.3 set

The E-6B TACAMO generally uses the 368.25/340.55 set

The E-4B NAOC uses any of the other sets as does AF-1

The center freq is NBFM or they can use SSB

The Combat Cider subcariers are all SSB (8 KHz steps out to +56KHz and -8KHz
steps out to -56KHz from center)

On the center freq you will usually hear what some people call "crickets"
which is actually a TDM (Time Domain Multiplex) signal carrying several
different things. One is the ALCS Airborne Launch Control System info for
launching the IBMs.

There is a new communication system on the aircraft which is Boeing
Connections satellite up and down links for reachback. The E-6B only has
downlink at this time. The C-32A which is used by the Senior Leadership
(POTUS, SECDEF and others) also has the Boeing Connections system.

For JEFX2004, the MC2A test platform call "Paul Revere" also has this
system.

The NCA aircraft also use UHF Follow-On Milsats and the DSCS Defense
Satellite Communication System sats as well as Milstar.

Hope this helps
