[MilCom] Charleston Airshow Report

Got there about 9:30am. No problem with the traffic, but at our gate they parked the earlybirds farther out and the later arrivals were parked right up next to the gates. During the death march back to the car in the 90 degree heat I was glad I didn't bring anything I had to carry other than the children. At that time it wasn't too crowded and we got right in. They had me remove my eyeglasses to pass through the metal detector which was a first for me. Plenty of statics and many displays we didn't get to before the heat drove us off. Saw the Golden Knights, and a lot of the vintage aircraft demos. Saw the C-17 short landing demo. Boy they sure can stop on a dime. Left at noon at the start of the F-15 demo. Got home in time to hear the F-117 fire and listened to the rest from home. Nice to have the show back after a 3 year absence.

Nothing new in the way of frequencies except for a few new 400 MHz ones I found.
