Updates on two recent military crashes:

AH-64D Crash:
A memorial service was held for the two pilots killed in
last week's AH-64 crash at Fort Stewart. Also mentioned
is that Apache flights should resume today.

VMFA-122 Crash:
There is a bit more info on the pilot condition in this
article from the Savannah Morning News, but ID on
him yet. The group stand-down is confirmed.

In addition to these crashes, a VMFA-115 pilot from MCAS
Beaufort is listed as dead after his F/A-18 crashed off of the
USS Truman near the Azores. What a sad week for military
aviation here in the coastal Georgia area, reinforcing one's
appreciation for those who serve in the military and the
appreciation of their families who sacrifice just as much.
