It is Thurs, 1:56am EDT (0556z) and I am hearing CG Rescue 2114, an
HU-25A Falcon Jet out of CGAS Miami. He has been up on VHF ATC freqs with Miami
Ctr and is at 17,000 feet.
He was just in comms with "USS Warship 67" (Acft Carrier USS John F
Kennedy) concerning an ELT signal and asked the ship if they were "going to try to
find him." CG Rescue 2114 advised he did not want to interfere with the
ship's operation.
CG Rescue 2114 has also been up with CGAS Miami ("Miami Air") on both
123.1 and 381.8.
All night long I have been hearing USN acft in comms with USS John F
Kennedy on their Marshaling freq 364.25, so it is possible that one of their acft
is down.
