Lots going on today. POTUS in town and AF Academy graduation fly-bys that
included an F/A-22.

372.20: JOSA-214, (C-21A, CO-ANG), takeoff Colorado Springs.
275.80: REDEYE-11, flight of 2, (F-16, Buckley), cleared out on VR-413.
121.00: CESSNA 7905N, (Unk), land; then back out VFR. ((Pilot had an accent
that was somewhere between British and Aussie))
372.20: JOSA-048, (C-21A), takeoff Colorado Springs.
239.025: LOBO-21, flight of 4, (A-10A, Davis-Monthan), returning to Colorado
Springs and landing. If they flew over the AF Academy, they did it on VHF, as
I didn't hear them anywhere prior to their coming back in))
289.40: FIREBALL-1, flight of 4, (F-16, Cannon), fly-by AF Academy. I think
only 1 & 2 made the fly-by. 3 & 4 got separated from the other 2 and missed
their time. After fly-by requested direct Cannon.
289.40: SMOKY-10, (C-21A, Peterson), fly-by AF Academy.
289.40: LOBO-21, flight of 4, (A-10A, Davis-Monthan), this time they DID do
an Academy fly-by. Recovered back at Peterson.
289.40: RAPTOR-3, flight of 2, (F/A-22 with ?F-15? chase), Made multiple
passes over the Academy with the chase aircraft taking lots of pictures. A/A was
231.125. ((I'm thinking both of these guys were out of the 422nd TES at
Nellis. The chase definitely sounded like an F-15E))
275.80: REDEYE-21, flight of 2, (F-16, Buckley), cleared to Two Buttes MOA.
289.40: THUNDERBIRD-8, (F-16D, Nellis), out taking pictures over the
Academy. Never did hear the rest of the T-Birds.
319.00: GHOST-34 (Heavy), (KC-10A), with Denver Center, FL 310. Reports
being in "standard formation." ((I'm kind of thinking that he was dragging
RAPTOR-3 flight back to Nellis or wherever))
121.00: JOSA-214, (C-21A, CO-ANG), land; then on to Colorado Springs.
239.025: SPIRIT-02, (B-2A, Whiteman), with Colorado Springs Approach. Says he
is not part of the Academy festivities today, but would like to do a fly-by
anyway. Cleared down to 12,000 feet, made his pass, climbed up to FL 250 and
headed back eastbound. ((I mean GEEEZ!! Who's going to turn down a B-2 when he
offers to do a fly-by??))
228.45: CACTI-51, (?KC-10A?), request WX Tinker 2000Z, Shaw 2130Z and McGuire
for 2230Z.
372.20: REACH 194T, (?C-17A?), land Colorado Springs. Also called himself
REACH 194Y at times.
372.20: REACH 195T, (?C-17A?), land Colorado Springs. Bringing in 4
vehicles.
239.025: AMBUSH-12, (F/A-18, Unk), takeoff Colorado Springs. Switch Denver
Center, 379.95, 319.00 and 306.90. Probably headed for Fallon.
121.60: PAT-981, (C-26B, Buckley), cleared to Portland.
275.80: PEAK-01, flight of 2, (F-16, Buckley), takeoff for the Denver CAP.
121.00: AIR FORCE-1, (VC-25A, Andrews), land.
