Drill weekend for the Guard; so a fairly busy day.

121.00:  JOSA-559, (C-21A, Peterson), land; then on to Tinker.
275.80:  RIVAL-11, flight of 2, (F-16, Buckley), cleared to Veta/Chama MOA.
275.80:  REDEYE-11, flight of 3, (F-16, Buckley), cleared to Cheyenne MOA.
319.00:  PETRO-01, flight of ?2?, (KC-10A), with Denver Center; in the Block 
250-270. Will be rendezvousing with Petro-02 flight in about 15 minutes, and 
02 will be dragging the FEUD flight all the way to Hickam. Apparently Center 
tells 01 that (unk) has been cancelled, and 01 wants to know if that will affect 
02 and the FEUD flight. Says 02 flight is already airborne out of Travis and 
will be joining up with 01 in 15 minutes. Answer not heard.

on takeoff; and will be doing a fly-by at Pikes Peak International Raceway. 
After the fly-by, they will pick up their respective clearances to the 2 MOAs.

291.675: KNIGHT-32, (F/A-18C, VMFA-314), aborting takeoff. Lost power in #1 
engine.
291.675: REDEYE-21, (F-16, Buckley), inbound with IFE. Lost main generator 
and has flight control problems. RIVAL-21 joins up for chase and all switch to 
"Emergency Common," 269.30. ((Emergency common is a freq that allows Buckley 
Tower, Denver Approach and the aircraft involved in the IFE to all be on a 
common freq for coordination purposes))
