Fort Hood uses the TXU TRS and I believe 30.45 is linked to the TRS.
However I think aircraft need to use that frequency too and in general
aircraft don't carry EDACS radios, so I would think the frequency is
still in use.

I can't hear it in Austin.  I'm guessing I'm too close for skip, too
far for ground wave.
