Finally, a fairly busy Friday. 

First a short one from late last night:
230.80:  GUARD 22457, (UH-1, CO-ArNG, Buckley), reported hitting large bird 
during night training flight. Decalred IFE and made emergency landing near  
Limon, CO. Guard 16711, (another UH-1), went out to pick up the crew. Left the 
heli there for the night.

OK, now for today:

275.80:  NIGHTMARE-81, flight of 2, (AV-8B, VMA-513, Yuma), cleared to 
Offutt. ((Enroute to Dayton Airshow))
289.40:  VANDY-12, (T-1A, Vance), attempting to call Scenic Control af AF 
Academy. Switched to Academy Tower, 320.10; also with no luck. 
275.80:  STUD-11, flight of 2, (F-16, Buckley), cleared to Whiteman. ((Also 
enroute Dayton Airshow))
275.80:  REDEYE-11, flight of 2, (F-16, Buckley), cleared our on VR-413.
121.00:  ROLLER-76, (C-130H, NV-ANG), land; then out on Round-Robin over 
eastern Colorado.
121.00:  GUARD 22457, (UH-1, ArNG, Buckley), RTB Buckley from last night's 
little mishap.
372.20:  TETON-55, (C-130H, WY-ANG), land Colorado Springs.
372.20:  JOSA-181, (C-21A), takeoff Colorado Springs.
239.025: THUNDER-11, (Unk), calling Colorado Springs Approach. (Very weak).
291.675: TOPGUN-31, (F/A-18B, NSAWC, Fallon), land.
121.00:  REACH 5895, (C-130, Little Rock), land; then on to Little Rock.
291.675: TOPGUN-1, (F/A-18A, NSAWC, Fallon), land; then on to Terre Haute as 
a flight of 2 with TOPGUN-31.
291.675: KNIGHT-11, (F/A-18F, VFA-154, Lemoore), land; then on to Scott.
275.80:  REDEYE-21, flight of 2, (F-16, Buckley), cleared to Airburst Range.
319.00:  OUTLAW-1, (Possible EA-6B, VAQ-141, Whidbey), with Denver Center, FL 
260. Climbing to FL 290 and requesting direct Tinker. Switch 354.15.
372.20:  JOSA-483, (C-21A), takeoff Colorado Springs.
121.00:  ROLLER-76, (C-130H, NV-ANG), land; then on to Salt Lake City.
291.675: CROW-11, flight of 4, (F-15C, Eglin), land.
118.50:  EVAC 40619, (C-141, McGuire), trying to land Colorado Springs, but 
field is on hold for lightning and severe t-storms. Didn't hear whether or not 
he finally made it in.
372.20:  NAVY JR-721, (C-20G, VR-48, NAF Andrews), also trying to pick way 
through storms into Colorado Springs.
372.20:  JOSA-005, (C-21A, Peterson), land Colorado Springs. ((Probably 
needed pontoons, as they got about 4 inches of rain out of that storm))
349.20:  SENTRY-42, (AWAC, Tinker), request WX Tinker 0200-0300Z.
