There is also a Black Mountain in SE Ky. not too far from here in E. TN.
There is a very good amateur repeater on it on 147.210. Doubt it's the one
referred to though.

Subject: [MilCom] Black Mountain

Hello Group , Does anyone know the location of a "Black Mountain" ? I have
heard what sounds like helo's working "Rescue Op's" on 6713.5 USB . The only
location that I have heard them refer to is "Black Mountain". The signal is
very weak and the band is very noisey. Also FYI the callsign "Jambo ##" has
been changed to "Skull ##" for the B-52's from the 93rd BS out of KBAD
,"Barksdale AFB". The callsigns; Doom ## , Scalp ## and Tuff ## remain
unchanged. A/A frequencies are; 228.150 , 228.225 , 228.250 , 228.325 ,
228.350 , 228.450 and 392.200. AFRES A-10 A/A ; 138.900 , 139.800 , 139.900
, 140.000 and 141.500. Winchester Op's; 141.500. Thanks , Randy
