Hello all, Had the chance to go to Volk Field in central WI for their open
house and fly in.
The following were on hand:

on the fuel tank as well as Navy on the side and # 307 on the nose.
He left early and used callsign Roman 67
E 3B AWACS from Tinker OK Had OK on the tail and # of 77-0351
KC 135 from Milwaukee with # of 61-0298
F 18F Super Hornet with "XE" on the tail and VX 9 on the side, ser # 165804

F 4 with "HO" on the tail and ser # 72-176 - from Holloman
F 16 C from 132nd FW at Des Moines IA ser # 89-0219 notation of Wing
Commanders plane. Also saw reference to additional tail's from DSM of:

C-130 from 440th in Milwaukee with ser # 50042. Left mid afternoon and used
Sweet 40 as callsign
Also 2 UH 60 Blackhawks from the 147th at Madison using Lance 50 flight
Also had fly by's from Lobo 41, 42, 43 (South Dakota F-16's from Sioux
Falls)

Sweet 40 did several passes and dropped a skid off at midfield. One of the
UH 60's then went out and picked it up and brought it back in.
Another UH 60 did a SAR drill for everyone to observe.
Had several ACMI demonstrations that lasted almost 1 hour, with great action
from a actual sortie by 8 F 16's from Madison.
All in all it was a great day, first open house there in 4 years so it was
good to get back on base and see what all has changed.
