[MilCom] Loggings/Reports Techniques, etc.

Well said Tom,
I think most, or at least a lot of us are as you said. We do this as a
hobby, when time allows. I know I have a demanding job, a daughter at home,
and one nearby who think I should take care of them first, and then spend
time with my hobby. I also have a couple of Grandchildren who feel I should
drop most anything to be with them, and I do all of that because I want to
(and it is expected of responsible people). When all is done, and the family
is already in for the night, I can take a few minutes to listen. I
definitely appreciate any info that is past on to us, but I do not feel any
of us should be obligated to do certain things at a certain time, in a
certain amount for a hobby. I already have a job that demands that, and it
pays me to do it. I post something from time to time if I feel it will help
others, and if I am in a position to get enough info for it to be a benefit.
Now, as to monitoring... I was not near a radio, but a T-37 (TWEET)
passed over the area here Saturday afternoon. Apparently an Aggie Grad who
was making a pass near A&M, and maybe a touch and go at the Easterwood
Airport in College Station, Texas. Maybe someone in Central Texas heard
them. Also, my wife said she heard something that sounded like a sonic boom
around 8 AM Saturday (Don't remember a T-37 making it that fast). I make too
much noise at work to hear things like that...
73,
Paul N5XMV
