Be careful what you wish for.  You might end up on an exchange program 
where you stationed at Alert N.W.T.   This place is just 300 miles short of 
the North Pole.  You are normally stationed at this arctic paradise for six 
months at a time.

On the positive side, I understand the monitoring is quite good both above 
and below the ice ( the USN also has guys up there).

You might also get to visit Santa too.
