Hello All...well I've got my station started....got my BC780XLT and an Icom
R75 is on the way (both from Ebay). Can anyone suggest a good software
program for logging? Possibly one with the capability of importing pics
since taking photographs of these aircraft is another hobby of mine?

Also still looking for a portable Vhf/Uhf unit that is comparable to the
BC780 (I know that is a tall order but any suggestions?)

Well I don't know of any logging program that can import pix, if you run
ACARSD, I think that program (which decodes VHF Acars xsmns) can.
   Anyway, we've got a host of BC780 and R75 control/logging programs right
here...

ACARSD is at the bottom of the page.
Personally, I'd grab ARC780 or Trunkstar780, then perhaps RxPlus for the
R75. There's Yahoo groups for each of these radios, and there too you can
get more opinions on the various software available.

73s and have fun with the research....Mike
