More than one person has been "chatised" by these self-appointed censors and
now refuses to post anything to the list for the benefit of the hobby.
Personally, I have forgotten (and so have many others) more comsec & opsec
than exists within the military today.  Once as a young SP4, I questioned
why air deployments and ground force deployments were being posted in
national media and over the major television networks.  Response was, "we
are a free country and besides the enemy might find out real secrets if we
tried to keep it hidden," or words to that effect.  So the next time one of
you self-appointed censors, decides to chatise someone on this list, best be
sure of what you are even talking about before you start you damn screaming.
Oh, if you notice there are no callsigns or
A-2-A freqs in today's log, that is an example of exactly what Opsec will
prevent you from knowing.  As for those in the national agencies that
monitor this, continue to do so......I like knowing you are out there
watching over us, it makes me feel warm & secure :-)  As for responding to
me on this issue, do not bother because I am not going to read anything more
on this nor am I going respond to anyone on this issue.  Had enough of
self-centered, egotistical, know-it all self-appointed censors.
