[MilCom] Milcom Performance BC296D?

I'd be interested to hear some comments from actual users on how well the
Uniden BC296D performs in monitoring the civilian & military aero bands, as
well as tactical air/air in the 138-144 mhz band?

Also can the features such as searching, scanning, & digital audio
adjustment be accomplished with only 1 hand with the radio mounted in a
holder within reach of the vehicle driver?
