Today was practically perfect weather for an airshow at Vidalia.
There wasn't a cloud in the sky, the temperature wasn't too hot,
and there was a slight breeze to keep you cool. I had a hard time
getting in (no one seemed to know much of what was going on)
so I departed early to avoid a problem getting out...
Here's what I had active as far as aviation frequencies go:
122.800 Vidalia UNICOM, used prior to Show Boss going active
290.400 Jax Center App/Dep; F-117 ingress/egress
126.050 Show Boss
124.100 Show Boss Secondary
123.425 Show Discrete
127.775 Careers in Aviation Team air-to-air
123.025 Army Aviation Heritage Foundation air-to-air
242.400 Army Aviation Hertiage Foundation air-to-air
303.100 Show Boss UHF for F-117 (see note below)
Military Callsigns:
HOG 01 A-10 Demo Team
STEALTH 92 F-117 Demo
Apparently the Show Boss could transmit but not receive on UHF.
As a result, HOG 01 who was waiting on the ramp to taxi out (with
his cockpit still up) relayed STEALTH 92's comms on 303.000 to
the Show Boss on 126.050 (good job of adapting to the situation...).
STEALTH 92 got cleared to Valdosta when he departed Vidalia so
I guess he must have been going to Moody.

There was also heavy use of Southern Linc observed by
certain law enforcement (in a vehicle excessively marked
drug enforcement) and by the airshow staff.
