This information is useful for people that do not include their location in
their posts so you don't need to waste time replying and asking where they
are.. In this example we are looking at a hotmail.com header but a lot of
other mailers use X-Originating-IP as well...

If you did a little snooping around you'd see he's in the netherlands
Look at the message source... you will see in the header reads in part....
...
X-Originating-IP: [80.60.205.230]
...

That is the originating IP of the sender.

If you did an 'nslookup' you will see it resolves to
ipXXXXXXXX.speed.planet.nl
For those that don't know .NL stands for Netherlands

DISCLAIMER:

I'm not giving out secret information. This can be found out by anyone that
knows how email works. I didn't "hack or crack" anything to get this
information and it isn't private. SO DONT FLAME ME

This is especially important if you think you are safe "hiding" behind a
hotmail account because you aren't.
anonymous. Anyone can see your originating address!

The reason that attachment wasn't there is because mailman, the listserver
software, removes or 'strips' all attachments most likely due to
viruses/bandwidth reasons..
