[MilCom] Planned "On Scene" Monitoring Gathering -- Westover ARB 4/12/03

We will be holding an "On Scene" Hobbyists Monitoring Gathering this =
upcoming Saturday.  This will give all of you the opportunity to not =
only monitor aircraft radio transmissions but also watch the massive =
C5's takeoff/land, as well as other aircraft that might show up.   This =
will give all of you the opportunity to learn more about military aero =
communications as well as discuss other local frequency information.=20

DATE:  4/12/03 (Saturday)

TIME:  Approx 0930 hrs through 1230 hrs local

PLACE:  Westover Air Reserve Base
               Civilian Airport Terminal -- Metropolitian Airport Area =
Parking Lot
               Padgette=20
               Chicopee, MA

Talk in Communications will be available on:
FRS/GMRS Channel 1 (462.5625 mhz), no CTCSS
MURS Channel 1 (151.82 mhz), no CTCSS

Host Callsigns will be:
DELTA 1
FOX 4
GAMBLER 7

As a side note, please don't bring any weapons (e.g guns) with you and =
ensure that you have a valid driver's license/vehicle registration in =
your possession.  We would also recommend that any passengers in your =
vehicle have appropriate picture ID.    We don't anticipate any problems =
BUT there's always the potential for a "security check" by one of the =
roving alpha sierra teams. =20
