9:50am: RTBs after week TDY at Patrick working Judy DZ, including some 
excitement Thursday when a PJ had to cut his tangled main chute away and 
descent on his reserve chute.  Pilot and Patrick tower operator got pretty 
excited over that.

10:24am: First of several flights to Avon Park Bombing Range for work with 
MAKOs and in ACM against DEMON flight (to FL 290 in Placid MOA).  Also worked 
with REEFs. Bombed in Foxtrot Range.

DEMON 01 Flight
10:59am: Work as "Red" (adversary acft) at Avon Park Bombing Range against 
AKULAs; RTBd NAS Jacksonville (not Jax IAP).  NAS-Jax not waypoint; heard 
descent into NIP.

12:01pm: Touch-and-goes, full stop, Patrick.

MARS 51: AV-8B, Flight 0f 3, Cherry Point MCAS VMAT-203 Training Sqdn.
1:40pm: RTB Cherry Point after RON, having worked offshore on Thurs. Once 
again, they use UHF for tower and departure, then switch to VHF.  Flight had 
arrived as MARS 51 plus single-ship MARS 41. I got only a couple of distant 
photos; they were too fast for me.

1:44pm: More MAKOs, AKULAs, and REEFs work at Avon Park Bombing Range.
5:10pm: Still more flights come to work the Echo and Foxtrot Ranges.

I hope some of you caught the interview of David Hunt, USA Ret, on Fox News.  
When asked what he would be doing if he were an Iraqi military leader, he 
replied "Filling toilets, and that is exactly what they are doing now."  The 
female interviewer pretended she didn't hear it.

and establishing the launch danger zone.
