Thanks for the response, Dave.
     The word in the callsign was two  syllables; at first I thought he was 
saying "Navy 75.' which really perked me up  because the E-4B is a US Air 
Force bird. Then I heard him use the callsign  again, several times, and it 
sounded like "Maybe 74."  I will be reviewing  the tape again and will see if 
I can confirm.
