[MilAir] Antennas

Can anyone recommend a relatively compact antenna (and associated  
coax) that I could use for picking up civil and milair frequencies? I  
have roof access at my newish apartment and I'm considering an  
outdoor antenna for the first time. I have a Pro-2055 that I'll be  
using as my receiver.
