Most antennas (Those not on top of a tower) have some sort of tree
"background"  I painted most of my antennas a flat black then after that
dried I painted irregular stripes of olive drab and flat brown.  This
"Cammo" scheme promoted the comment from the neighbor "Hey thanks for taking
down some of those eyesore antennas.  Your house looks a lot better now!"
The wife also commented positively.   I had no problem seeing them but I
have to admit they did fade into the background better.  I spoke to a
Canadian Ham Radio Operator who said he paints his antenna dark flat colors
and it helps to melt the ice!  I can't confirm that but it sound like it
would work.

BTW the antennas appear to work well on send and receive.  No bad changes in
were SWR seen.
