Couple weeks ago, when sending out an email about the Muskegon and Kalamazoo hamfests, I had added a quote
“Too bad there isn’t a Ham store in Michigan”.
It turns out there is! I received an email from David Fair N9QID, co-owner HAMSTERS in Dowagiac updating me. They sell new and used radio gear.
I had a nice conversation with Dave at their tables at the Kalamazoo Hamfest. When doing your radio shopping, be sure to check them out, “HAMSTERS, Your place for amateur radio items at a fair price.”

Pete is the Broadband Services Manager of the Holland BPW, and heads up the ISP and fiber network for the city. Pete was responsible for putting up HARC's website in the beginning and getting us the Yahoo email list server. More info at http://www.hollandarc.org/
