GEOMAGNETIC STORM: The solar wind is having an effect on Earth, after all. A mild G1-class geomagnetic storm is in progress on April 23rd as Earth moves through a stream of solar wind flowing from a coronal hole on the sun. High-latitude sky watchers should be alert for auroras.
