TRANSCONTINENTAL SPACE WEATHER BALLOON EXPERIMENT: Last week, Spaceweather.com and the students of Earth to Sky Calculus conducted a unique experiment in atmospheric radiation involving airplanes and high-altitude balloons launched simultaneously almost 3000 miles apart.
