All

We are still in need of help for the event. This is a very fun
event to work. The list of volunteers needs to be submitted this week,
so please if you are able to assist please sign up sooner rather than
later. Food and a T-shirt will be provided.

*Come out and have some fun while serving the community.*

Detailed information will be going out this weekend to everyone who has
signed up.

We are just under 2 weeks away from the2015 Mud Run. This year's event
is Saturday August 29th 7:30 AM - 1 PM at the Kentwood Community Church
located at 1200 60th St. We are in need of volunteers to assist in
monitoring runner safety. We have an number of people signed up, but we
still need 10 - 15 more people to help out. If you are able to help out
please sign up at http://vrm.cc/mudrun Events like this are a great
opportunity to get public exposure for the group. Our primary duties
will be runner safety. We will position personal along the course to
monitor the runners. We may also be called to perform other functions if
necessary, but only if they do not interfere with our primary task. Most
positions will be stationary posts. If you wish to bring a chair to sit
in while monitoring the course you may. Please remember that many of the
positions will be in the sun, so remember to bring proper protection.
Food will be provided.

If you don't know what the mud run is check out the web site.

This is a 5K run that has a number of obsticles, many of them involve
mud, This is a fun event to work. The participants of this event ary
crazy (in a good way). Many of the runners dress up on costumes for the
event. Come out and serve the community and have a good time while doing
it. Bring a chair, most possitions can be monitored while sitting in a
chair.
