Greetings all:
Kent County Amateur Radio Public Service Corp. is moving to a new system to better communicate with everyone. KCARPSC is an amateur radio public service organization that maintains a pool of amateur radio operators who are interested / willing to provide amateur radio communications during times of need.
What is need? This can be public service events like the river bank run, or disaster situations where many radio operators are needed or other skills to assist our served agencies. KCARPSC does have any specific training requirements other than an amateur radio license and a will to serve.
KCARPSC does encourage members of the pool to take available trainings and does present specific training opportunities on occasion. While KCARPSC makes use of various club and private resources KCARPSC is not a club and has no specific club affiliations as we are "neutral" ground.
Joining the KCARPSC operator pool does not constitute commitment of any way shape or form to the organization.
To add yourself to the volunteer pool follow the "texcom" instructions below.
KCARPSC is also in need of volunteers to help with the following:
<!--[if !supportLists]-->- Communications Team Leader
<!--[if !supportLists]-->- Specific Hospital Location Team Leader
<!--[if !supportLists]-->- Net Controllers
To indicate interest in the above positions please email coordinator at kcest.org
Kent County Auxiliary Communications is using TexCom for its day to day communications and operational management. TexCom is used by thousands of emergency response personnel throughout the country. The system allows us to be more aware of the many facets of our organization's daily operation and will enhance our ability to function efficiently and safely.
