 All

   The Mud Run is this Saturday and we are still in need of additional volunteers. We need at least 4 more people for the 6:30 - 11 shift and 13 more for the 10:30 - 3 shift. This is a high priority event. If you are able to help out please sign up at http://vrm.cc/mudrun2013 

If you are not a licensed ham radio operator and would like to help please feel free to sign up, we will still be able to put you to work. 

Events like this are a great opportunity to get public exposure for the group. 

Our primary duties will be runner safety. We will position personal along the course to monitor the runners. We may also be called to perform other functions if necessary, but only if they do not interfere with our primary task. Most positions will be stationary posts. If you wish to bring a chair to sit in while monitoring the course you may. Please remember that many of the positions will be in the sun, so remember to bring proper protection. In the past lunch was provided, if for some reason it is not we will make arraignments to get you fed.
