note that the ONLY exemption from "A person who has been convicted of 1 or
more felonies during the preceding 5 years" is a ham -- hams with felony
convictions can have a 'police/fire/ems radio' but not cops or firemen or
medics (and there's no exemption for on-duty)....

i know cops usually get fired if tehy have a felony, but how about
volunteer fireman??

if someone is a felon and i get on a volunteer fire department, then they
can't use a department radio or department vehicle -- duh... sure, i'm
nit-picking, but someone's got to be the nit-picker...
