THE SOUTHEASTERN CONNECTICUT RADIO AMATEUR MOBILE SYSTEM (SCRAMS)

>From April 12 through April 18th, a special event radio station will be established and demonstrations of wireless communications will be held at the Mystic Aquarium just off I95, Exit 90 in Mystic, CT.

This event is being held as part of the aquarium's recognition of the 100th anniversary (April 15th) of the sinking of the Titanic.


Come join us to learn about the Titanic's sinking; listen and learn how the ship sent wireless emergency messages. Try Morse code for yourself. View demonstrations of old and new amateur radio communications. Learn about the exciting hobby of Amateur Radio. Become part of this lifetime hobby!


Information, pamphlets and other materials will be available.
