If you are without New Year's Eve plans, and do NOT want a wild all 
night bash, consider this. The Lowell Amateur Radio Club is hosting a 
New Year's gathering at the shack and, if warranted, in the larger 
F.R.O.M. board room across the hall. Start about 8PM. We'll take up a 
collection to order pizzas. I'll bring the pop, and the coffee pot will 
be on. Bring a snack to share. This is a NON-Alcohol event. We'll have 
the radios for Strait Key Night, a TV for the dropping of the ball at 
Times Square, and whatever else comes to mind. Members and non-members 
alike all welcome.

The club shack is in the Flat River Outreach Ministries building, 11535 
Fulton St E (Hwy M-21), Lowell. About 1 mile west of the Lowell Meijer.

NEW HAMS DINNER! All Hams, keep open Saturday, February 21, for the 
annual New Hams Dinner. This is a traditional Get out of the Cabin 
gathering to have a good time, and make a special welcome to those, who 
with-in the past year, have acquired a ham ticket and hams that have 
moved into the area. For those hams, dinner is on us. Dinner is at Fire 
Mountain Buffet, 3725 Alpine Ave NW (Hwy M-37), Comstock Park, MI 49321.

just west of Alpine Ave. In order to avoid the Saturday night crowd, 
dinner will be at 2PM to 3:30, so delay lunch and come hungry. Cost is
