[MIham] Michigan QSO Party = This weekend

Tomorrow, Saturday, April 19 is the Michigan QSO Party.
 It runs from Noon to Midnight local time, or 1600Z Saturday to 0400Z Sunday
 The rules, log sheets and summary sheets can be found at   http://miqp.org


 There is a rumour of a "protest"!  There are Technician Class operators in
 St Clair, Macomb and Lapeer county who think that VHF and UHF should
be included
 in the MI QSO Party.  So ----- If you have some time Saturday between noon and
 midnight, get on 146.52 and make some noise - Call   CQ Michigan QSO Party
 and make some QSO's.  Keep a log with the date, time, call, serial number sent,
 serial number received and the county received.
 Turn in your VHF / UHF logs - They probably will not count in the
results, but it may
 send a message to the MI QSO Party committee that there are hams out there who
 only operate VHF and / or UHF!
