There is a nice article about Hank K8KBW by Joel K8PSV
in today's Detroit Free Press. It is about Hank's
homebrewing of ham equipment. See

Joel is a regular Free Press Reporter and a long time
ham. Joel has been quite a collector of vintage ham
gear too. 

In the paper on page 5 of the Community Section there
is another article about contacting W9EFL on 3845 kc,
but I can't find it on-line
