[MIham] Meeting and Grounds Cleanup

The Lowell Amateur Radio Club will meet on Saturday June 10th, 2006, at the
Lowell Airport. Social gathering 9AM, meeting at 10. All are welcome.

It's that time of year again, the growing season is now appond us. So as
part of our
       agreement with the CITADEL COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION, To have our
repeater
       at the WKLQ Transmitter Site. We need to keep up the grounds around
the tower site.
       This will happen on the Tuesday following the LARC Meeting at 7PM, if
it's Raining this
       will be Thursday at 7PM.

      For thoughes who plan there lives here's some dates of our grounds
cleanup:
                                     June 13th
                                     July 11th
                                    August 15th
                                    September 12th
                                    October 17th (this one will be a
judgement call)

So Bring a Lawnmower, Weedeater if you have them or just come out and join
the
       fun...Many Hands Makes the Work Load Lighter!!!!!!

    Reminder of our tower site clean up project:

    The Independent Repeater Association (IRA) will be having tower clean up
party at the main tower site in Grand Rapids on June 17th. (2 Saturdays
after the IRA hamfest on June 3rd.). General maintenance (painting, cleaning
etc) and weed control will be the main jobs. if you can make this please let
me know by drop me an e-mail (KC8WJA at arrl.net)

available manpower , we'll select what job we can get done. One of those big
jobs would be to replace the main receiver feed line with a new 2 1/8" Hard
line. Please pass this e-mail along to anyone that maybe able to help.
