AURORA WATCH: A high-speed solar wind stream is buffeting Earth's magnetic
field and causing mild geomagnetic storms. Sky watchers in Scandinavia,
Alaska and Canada should be alert for auroras tonight.
SUNSPOT REPORT: Giant sunspot 720, the source of so much solar activity in
January, has returned, but it is no longer a giant. The sunspot decayed
during its recent transit around the far side of the sun and now poses
little threat for strong solar flares.

Observatory (SOHO).
