The monthly meeting of the Lowell Amateur Radio Club (W8LRC) is Saturday,
May 7. 9AM
social, 10AM meeting at Lowell City Airport, 730 Lincoln Lake Ave SE just
north of Lowell
between Main St (Hwy M-21) and Vergennes St. All are welcome. Talk-in

This month there will be a NTS Traffic Handling Presentation.  Presented by
Chuck Putney KC8REH


It's that time of year again, the growing season is now upon us. So as part
of our agreement with the
CITADEL BROADCASTING CORPORATION, to have our repeater at the WKLQ
Transmitter
Site. We need to keep up the grounds around the tower site. This will happen
on the Wednesday
following the LARC Meeting, which in the month of May this will be on
Wednesday May 11, at 7PM,
if it's Raining this will be Thursday May 12 at 7PM.

The Transmitter Site is about 5 miles north of the City of Lowell on Lincoln
Lake Ave, between Three
and Four Mile Rd on the East side of Lincoln Lake Ave.

So Bring a Lawnmower, Weedeater if you have them, or just come out and join
the fun...Many Hands
