B.
Group A will be a meeting with Mr. Bridgewater and the official
observers
from all three sections. Group B will be the club conference with Ms.
Krukowski and myself and a general discussion regarding topics of
interest
to all club members. At 2:30 P.M. Group A will be a high speed multi
media

Positioning
Radio System. At 3:30 Dick Arnett and Robert Frey will have a
position on
Amateur Radio Direction Finding in Group A, and Group B will have
Rick Swain

groups
will merge and Mr. Weaver, Great Lakes Director, will give a talk

the direction of the Great Lakes Division; role of the Assistant
Directors
and the role the three Sections will play in Ham Radio's future.
Everyone
is welcome. Go the following website tomorrow for more information
on the
Great Lakes Division including reserving your rooms. On September 7
the

Subject: Milford Amateur Radio Classes
Because of the timeliness of the subject, I'm sending this before the
Milford ARC September newsletter.
Amateur Radio Classes
The Amateur Radio Classes, for beginning Technicians, will be
tentatively starting on Tuesday, the 16th of September, at Milford High
School, for a total of 13 weeks, and culminating with the Amateur test on
Tuesday, December 9th. The classes will start two days before our first
meeting of September, and we need to know of any prospective students, so we
can obtain enough materials. Talk to your relatives, neighbors, or friends,
BEFORE our next meeting, September 18th, and we can see what kind of a
response we have. Classes for General, and Extra will start a couple of
weeks later and also finish on Tuesday. December 9th. The Instructor will
be Tom, K8PNW, along with other club members helping. Please call George,
WA8YUZ, at 248-887-4449, before September 6th, with names, or for any
further information. Thanks, Bob, K8ZKJ, Secretary, Milford ARC.

FYI,
L'Anse Creuse's newsletter "The Wired Circuit" beat out
both the Ohio and
Kentucky newsletters to become the Great Lakes Division champion.
Blossomland's "Rusty Key" came in second in Michigan's
competition and
Central Michigan "Scope" came in third. All the
newsletters were very good
and the judges had a hard time in making their selections.
The understand that Cherryland's "Cherry Juice" got an
honorable mention
coming in fourth place.
I hope to be able to have Michigan compete in this competition
annually. If
you have any questions, please let me know.
Again my congratulations to the winners.
