[MIham] Great Lakes Division Convention: Clubs: get ready for ARRL Field Day!

 Dear Affiliated and Special Service Clubs:

 At the Division Convention in Findlay, Ohio on September 6th there
will be
an affiliated club/association meeting for all affiliated
clubs/associations
whether you are an SSC or just a club/association. I am asking that
each
club/association send one member to this meeting as there will be a
meeting
of the minds as to how to get members more involved, how to increase
in size
and a host of other things. At this time the meeting will be hosted
by the
Michigan, Kentucky and Ohio Affiliated Club Coordinators.  This joint
meeting in Findlay can bring together what has been missing in the
past in
the Great Lakes Division and that is unity among clubs/associations
and
their members.

I hope that each club/association will be able to send at least one
member
to this forum and while they are there they can also participate in
other
forums that will be available on Saturday and then attend the hamfest
on
Sunday. Check out the Division Convention website at

If your club cannot attend, please let me know what topics are of
concern to
you and I will act as your representative.
