A Mini-Swap will take place concurent with this Month's VE Amateur Radio
license exams Friday, December 12, 6:30PM, at the Red Cross Building. There
is no charge for attending or tables. Comdac of St Joseph

The W8DC ham shack at the Red Cross building is open for use Wednesdays

DAPR, the Downtown Amateur Packet Radio Group of Grand Rapids, meets for
breakfast the Saturday after the first Friday of each month, December 6, at
8AM. New Beginnings Restaurant, 1455 Michigan St NE. Use the Fuller exit
(turn south) off of I-196 then go east on Michigan. "Talk-in" is on
146.760/R. Anyone

TECHNICIAN LICENSE CLASS. Know someone wanting their "ticket". This year
will be a weekend crash course beginning Friday evening January 9, 6-10PM,
all day Saturday 10th, 9AM-9PM, and Sunday 11th, 9AM-NOON, with VE Exam at
1PM. There is a MANATORY pre-class meeting Friday December 19, 7PM to
receive books and study instructions. Fee will be collected at this time.
Spr: GRARA and American Red Cross. Cost of the class is $25 which includes
the Technician Class Book by Gordon West WB6NOA, or $55 with book and tape
