[Microwave] For Sale: HP Spectrum Analyzer & Preselector

Due to advancing age, health challenges & too many irons in the fire, I'm
offering for sale the following test equipment which I purchased fm the
estate of K7NII in 2015 & haven't used:

 

1.	Spectrum Analyzer including HP 141T mainframe/display, HP 8555A RF
Section & HP 8552B IF Section.  It offers amplitude calibration fm +10 to
-125dBm over a freq range of 10 MHz to 18 GHz w/ high resolution of 100 Hz.
External mixers can extend it to 40 GHz.  CRT has variable persistence
storage & trace is bright & well focused.  Copy of operating instructions
section fm manual included along w/ pwr cord.  Weight abt 60 lbs + packing.
Price reduced to $225 + packing & shipping.  Will need to dbl box.  

 

2.	HP 8445B Automatic Preselector is a YIG tuned filter for up to 18
GHz.  Copy of full manual + pwr cord included.  Weight ~28 lbs + packing.
Priced reduced to $125 + packing & shipping. 

 

Prefer to sell SA & Preselector together.  Attached photo shows both units
along w/ a HP sweep oscillator which has been sold.  Bright spot on trace is
an artifact of my cell phone camera.  PayPal F&F accepted.  More photos
available upon request.  

 

Prefer local pickup so you can verify operation but will pack & ship.  If
you're planning on attending the Prescott Valley Hamfest next Saturday
5/13/23, I live about 25 miles NW of that location.  I'd be happy to meet
you at my QTH in the afternoon.  I will NOT be attending the Hamfest.
