Hi all,
I'm looking for a couple of things :-
1) A copy of the article that was in the May and June 1993 QST - Home brewing a 10 GHz transverter.
Does anyone know if the 2.5 to 10 GHz multiplier in that article uses a pipe cap filter - I picked up a Postscript file of artwork but that was all I could find.
2) An article that details a 2.5 to 10 GHz multiplier that does not use pipe cap filters.
What I am trying to achieve is about +13dbm at 10.000 to 10.300 GHz for a project.
The input source would be on 2.5 GHz and I have +10dbm there.
I particularly want something that needs no tuning OR has the necessary bandwidth.
I looked at the RSGB multiplier but this uses pipe cap filters and from past experience they have too little bandwidth.
3) I did find an article in an old DUBUS by DL1RQ that has a 1.2 to 10 GHz multiplier and this would possibly do the trick if I leave off the first stage - anyone know of a source of either PCB's or a good copy of the artwork - the article I got off the web has a poor artwork and it's not the right size. I could probably generate good artwork if I knew the size of the filter lines in particular.
Can anyone help or suggest a suitable source?
Thanks and 73
