Would like to add another note of thanks to Bill and Cristophe. Many of us
almost owe a good fraction of our logs to them. This was the best-managed
rover operation I have ever seen, with Cristophe fielding the call-ins on
144.247, working the lower bands, and passing off the microwave requests to
Bill in real time. Bill was so adept he kept up with the crowd and there
was almost no wait time. My log shows about 90 contacts with W3IY/R!

Conditions were only "decent normal" with no real enhancements. We were in
the heavy mountain fog most of the contest with a lot of precip static (even
up to 1296 at times) making copy a bit difficult at times. But activity was
really good and there was never a dull moment.

Thanks to all. And bravo, W3IY/R!

73,

Jim
